Plastic-Coated Steel Pipe with Socket Connection

Description:

The Plastic-Coated Steel Pipe with Socket Connection is a unique piping solution that combines the durability of steel with the corrosion resistance of a plastic coating. The socket connection feature enables easy installation and secure jointing, making it a versatile choice for various piping applications.

Applications:

The Plastic-Coated Steel Pipe with Socket Connection is widely used in water supply, drainage, and other fluid transport systems. Its corrosion resistance and ease of installation make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, particularly in environments with high humidity or chemical exposure.

Advantages:

The key advantages of the Plastic-Coated Steel Pipe with Socket Connection include its excellent corrosion resistance, which significantly extends the pipe's service life. The socket connection provides a secure and leak-free joint, ensuring reliable performance. Furthermore, the combination of steel and plastic coating offers both strength and flexibility, making it a cost-effective solution for various piping needs.

Socket-type plastic-coated steel pipe specifications:

1. Specifications and dimensions:

Diameter: usually between 219mm-3500mm.

Wall thickness: usually between 5mm-30mm.

Length: Usually between 6m-12m, but the effective length may vary depending on the depth of insertion of the socket, such as 9000mm, 12000mm, 18000mm, etc., which can also be negotiated as needed.

2. Coating parameters:

Coating materials: mainly modified heavy-duty anti-corrosion epoxy resin, PE (polyethylene) or EP (epoxy resin), etc.

3. Coating thickness:

Modified heavy-duty anti-corrosion epoxy resin coating thickness: usually between 1.8mm-3.7mm.

PE (modified polyethylene) coating thickness: 400um-1000um.

EP (epoxy resin) spray thickness: 100um-400um.

4. Common colors:

Including red, black, gray, blue, white, green, etc.

5. Pipeline accuracy:

Pipe accuracy mainly refers to diameter deviation, wall thickness deviation, length deviation, etc. Generally, the diameter deviation of the pipe is required to be within ±0.5%, and the wall thickness deviation is within ±0.1mm.

6. Other parameters:

Maximum working pressure: When DN>500, the maximum design pressure is 2.5MPa; when DN≤500, the maximum design pressure is 3.0MPa.

Applicable environment: Suitable for underground installation environment of water supply and drainage.

7. Base pipe category:

should comply with standards such as GB/T3091-2015, SY/T5037-2018 or GB/T9711-2017.

8. Coating adhesion:

For example, the adhesion of polyethylene plastic coating should be ≥30N/cm, and the adhesion of epoxy resin coating should be level 1 to 3.

9. Bending performance and flattening performance:

Steel-plastic pipes with a nominal diameter not greater than 50mm should not crack after bending, and no delamination should occur between the steel and the inner and outer plastic layers; those with a nominal diameter greater than 50mm and not exceeding 600mm Steel-plastic pipes should also not crack or delaminate after being flattened.
